Chelcie Stanton

MS, OTR, Occupational Therapist

Chelcie grew up in St. Croix and earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy at Ithaca College in 2014. After graduation, she was eager to return home to make a difference in the lives of children of St. Croix. Chelcie has experience working with children of all ages and varying diagnoses, including children with autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADD and ADHD, coordination disorders, global developmental delays, and feeding difficulties. She is the lead OT providing services at Coral Reef Academy in St. Croix, a unique school for children with Autism and developmental disabilities, and she has been a fieldwork supervisor educating OT students from the states. Chelcie is an expert at structuring activities in ways that encourage children to challenge their skills while feeling successful and having fun. She is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming OT and can be counted on to be a steadfast advocate for families. Chelcie is certified in Aquatic Therapy, a service we are excited to be offering in St. Croix!
