Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed her dietetic internship at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She has been a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician since 2013. Emily accepted her first full-time position as a Registered Dietitian at Juan F. Luis Hospital on St. Croix in 2011, where she worked as a Clinical Dietitian and Head Dietitian. During her 2 1/2 years on St. Croix, she also provided nutrition counseling through Dr. Ricketts’ clinics and conducted nutrition education sessions for multiple organizations on island. Emily has been practicing as a clinical dietitian in South Carolina for the past ten years, working with people of all ages and with diverse health and nutrition needs throughout her career. She desires to help people embrace the function AND fun of healthy, balanced eating. In her free time, Emily loves to dance, travel, explore ethnic cuisines, and hang out on her paddleboard.
