Call us to learn more about our services and schedule an evaluation. Please complete the intake form prior to your appointment. We will review your insurance coverage and the potential costs for treatment. For families without insurance, we do offer discounted pricing. Free consultations are available for clients who would like to talk with a therapist before scheduling an occupational or speech therapy evaluation.

INITIAL EVALUATION

A lead therapist will meet with you and your child to assess your child’s skill level and discuss your concerns & goals for treatment. The initial evaluation typically lasts about 1 hour and may include standardized testing, parent interview, and clinical observations during therapist-led activities.

TREATMENT

Once a treatment plan has been developed, you and your therapist will work together to find a schedule that fits your family’s needs. We often see clients weekly or twice weekly in our clinic and may be able to provide services at home/school/daycare if circumstances allow. We strongly value family involvement and collaboration with school staff to maximize progress.

Does my insurance cover services at JS Therapies?

JS Therapies is a credentialed provider with most major insurance companies in the Virgin Islands. Our billing manager can verify your benefits to determine if services are covered, if there are any session limits, and if there is a copay (typically $25-$30 per session). For families whose insurance does not cover services or who are without insurance, we have discounted pricing and financial assistance available. You can contact our Billing Manager, Amanda, for more information or for a financial aid application.
Do you see clients in homes, schools, or daycares?"

We do have some availability for working with children in their homes, schools, and daycares, depending on therapist availability and location. Our services outside of the clinic have been limited due to covid restrictions, but please contact us for the most current information about service locations.
Where are you located?

St. Croix: Our clinic is located in "the old Tutto Bene" at 2006 Eastern Suburb near the bottom of the Christiansted Bypass heading towards Gallows Bay. Come up the stairs or the ramp on the right side of the building. St. Thomas: We are in Suite 111 of the VI Medical Foundation Building located behind the hospital. From the rear parking lot, our entrance is on the right side of the building next to the ramp entrance. We also have space in Suite 108!
Do you offer services for adults?

We do! While pediatrics is our passion, our therapists have experience treating clients throughout the lifespan with a variety of conditions. Please contact us for more information on our therapy services for adults. You can complete our adult intake packet online. Click here for more information.
Do you accept MAP/Medicaid or Medicare?

We now accept MAP of the Virgin Islands. At this time, we are unable to see Medicare clients but can refer you to another local therapy provider.
