Katie is an occupational therapist from Kansas City, MO, who earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Rockhurst University. She was drawn to OT because of its creative and client-centered approach, believing that a diagnosis should never define a person’s capabilities. Her passion lies in breaking down barriers and tailoring every session to fit each child’s unique needs—because therapy should never be one-size-fits-all!

She joined JS Therapies because of our strength-based approach, focusing on what children can do rather than what they can’t. She believes that when a child feels successful, it builds confidence, motivation, and a foundation for continued growth. Outside of work, she loves spending time with friends and being out on the water, making St. Thomas the perfect place to call home.
