Monica is a pediatric OT and Certified Autism Specialist. She was born and raised in Maine and attended Husson University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in OT. She is the CEO of Dedicated Pediatric Therapy which has locations in Florida and Maine, and is the President of Beyond Therapy Foundation, a nonprofit organization serving the South Florida area. She now lives in Puerto Rico and travels to St. Croix to work with JS Therapies and continue her life goal of providing communities with exceptional occupational therapy services. She loves working with children of all ages and does all that she can to ensure her kids are enjoying therapy with intrinsically motivating activities. Her guiding principle in OT is "regulation before expectation"- ensuring every child's sensory system is regulated before expecting them to engage in functional tasks. She enjoys cooking, traveling, kayaking, paddle boarding, and volunteering for local dog rescues.
